OASIS

Online & Applied Systems for Intervention Skills

The OASIS  (Online and Applied System for Intervention Skills) family of products include a platform and curricula for evidence-based training through self-guided, programmed instruction including pre/post tests, written learning content, video examples, active student responding (ASR), and corresponding assignments.  Structured coaching and skill task analyses (TA) checklists ensure acquisition of both knowledge and skills.

OASIS-S

The OASIS-Supervision program (OASIS-S) program is a cloud-based program that was developed to address the variability in skill sets and knowledge in behavior analysis seen in those completing the BCBA supervision requirement.  The OASIS-S program is a series of structured modules that utilize programmed instruction allowing supervisees to engage in self-paced learning related to the key behavior analytic concepts.  Modules include a pre-test, active student responding, and post-test questions to measure acquisition of conceptual knowledge.  Modules also include skills-based competency assignments to complete with the BCBA supervisor to ensure acquisition of the indirect level skills required to become a competent clinicians. The OASIS-S program also includes a full pre and post test examination to be completed at the beginning and end of the supervision experience, a companion supervisor course with recommended readings and discussion questions, electronic supervision form submission, an hours tracking tool, and the option for Zoom integration for secure online meetings.  Please join our listserve below to receive updates about demonstrations, pricing, and product launch in August 2017.

OASIS-RBT

Decades of research have shown that an increase in knowledge is not necessarily correlated with an improved skill set.  The OASIS-RBT program was initially developed over 15 years ago to address the need for competent, well-trained staff who may be far away from the main office.  When the RBT certification came out, the OASIS program mapped neatly onto the criteria required by the BACB.  The OASIS-RBT program has undergone extensive field testing and has been shown to improve not only knowledge of key behavior analytic concepts, but also results in acquisition of the basic behavior analytic skill set required of behavioral technicians in the field.  The OASIS-RBT program utilizes self-paced programmed instruction to teach the knowledge and some of the skills necessary to be a competent behavioral technician while structured activities are provided for supervisors to complete with their technicians to utilize a behavioral skills training approach to ensure a complete skill set.  The OASIS-RBT training meets the 40 hour training requirement of the BACB for the RBT certification while using an evidence-based training approach.  Please join our listserve below to receive updates about demonstrations, pricing and product launch in July 2017.

OASIS-Parent

Despite increased access to ABA services for children with autism, many families still struggle to access these time-limited ABA services.  OASIS-Parent Training (OASIS-P) was developed after many parents signed up for OASIS-RBT training in the state of Kansas and asked for training just for them.  OASIS-P is an eight module parent training program that teaches parents about the basics of autism and ABA and how to utilize the science to address skill deficits and behavioral excesses with their children.  After completing a pre-test, parents engage in self-paced programmed instruction and then meet each week with a trained facilitator who works with the family using a behavioral skills training approach to meet competency on each strategy.  The OASIS-P program can be used as a stand alone program for parents who are unable to access higher levels of services or as an augment to a more intensive ABA program. The OASIS-P program can be completed completely online with the option to add Zoom video conferencing for a HIPAA compliant telemedicine session.  Please join our listserve below to receive updates about demonstrations, pricing, and product launch in Winter 2017.
